Background of the story

The Origin of Cronous

Long ago, there were three gods on the Cronous continent: Lapis , Exiliss , and Coeliss . They considered beauty the most sublime thing and were all peace-loving gods. They shaped the Cronous continent like a hand, wanting to share their beauty with humanity.

Each of these three gods possessed a giant orb. The eldest, Lapis , had an orb containing fire; the second, Exiliss , had water; and the youngest, Coeliss , had electricity. Lapis sprinkled passionate love across the continent, Exiliss sprinkled cold rationality, and the mischievous Coeliss occasionally punished humans with lightning.

But the people of the continent still lived happily on the beautiful Cronous continent. In the eyes of the three gods of this world, humans were so docile and kind, respecting and worshiping them. At that time, the continent was still filled with a wonderful fragrance, which was always carried afar through the breath of the third-level goddess Akashi.

But one day, an uninvited guest appeared on this peaceful and beautiful Cronous continent. He was the greedy god from a distant foreign land—Makufei. Attracted by Akashi's wonderful fragrance, Makufei came to the Cronous continent. What would he feel when he arrived? The legend has already mentioned that he was a greedy deity. I am sure that the moment he saw the beautiful Cronous continent, Makufei's heart almost jumped out. He was jealous of Cronous continent's beauty and inevitably wanted to possess it for himself.

Even if Makufei fought many wars for his greed, he couldn't possibly deal with three gods at once, and he knew this very well…

Therefore, Makufei began a long-term plan to seize the Cronous continent. He started changing the continent's appearance while the three gods weren't paying attention. However, I always thought it was unlikely that the three gods wouldn't notice. To this day, I still can't figure it out, although the great epic recorder Todd wrote it this way.

The southern end of the finger-shaped continent gradually grew sharp nails and generated evil power. Oh! Did I forget to tell you? Makufei also had a giant orb. Perhaps gods are born with their own orbs. Makufei's orb contained venom. He sprinkled the venom bit by bit at the end of the continent. Those with insufficient determination, influenced by the evil power, gradually changed, became evil, and began to threaten the continent's peace. But our great brothers Lapis , Exiliss , and Coeliss only looked at them with pity and did not take their fragile lives because of this.

However, the three gods shouldn't have been unaware of Makufei's existence. The actions of the several gangs disrupting the continent's peace were completely different from before. These actions weren't like ordinary bandits. According to the great recorder Todd, the reason they only watched Makufei's actions without taking any measures was that they believed Makufei would eventually leave. Our beautiful gods didn't want to endanger humans because of disputes among gods. Oh… respect them…

Makufei wasn't easy to deal with. Although exhausted after many battles, even if Lapis and Exiliss did their best, they couldn't easily defeat him. Lapis used fire to evaporate the venom sprinkled by Makufei, and Exiliss used large amounts of water to neutralize the venom. But the gods' war lasted through two human lifetimes, and finally Exiliss was poisoned. Just then, Coeliss regained his strength and returned to the battlefield. The gods made a major decision.

In any case, the decision of the continent's gods was achieved through noble sacrifice. In other words, they would be sealed forever in the dark time together with Makufei. Coeliss used his last strength to concentrate and release a huge lightning bolt, immobilizing Makufei. The severely poisoned Exiliss hugged Makufei from behind, preventing him from moving. Makufei released venom to break free from Exiliss , but for Exiliss , who had already decided to seal himself, there was nothing to retreat from.

Finally, Lapis dug out Makufei's heart and placed it in his own chest. A huge scream spread across the continent. Lapis 's scream, which wanted to seal Makufei's scream and heart within his own chest, shook the continent, causing massive changes in the earth's crust. The original continent turned into sea, and new continents formed. Many people lost their lives, and many beasts were buried underground, resulting in a scene of devastation. During this chaotic time, Exiliss dragged Makufei's body without a heart to the southernmost end of the continent, Castle Unos, and sealed himself there. Lapis took Makufei's heart to the northernmost island of Leto and buried himself there. As for the remaining Coeliss , he decided to go to the center of the Cronous continent, Castle Cronous, to watch over the entire continent. The temple in Castle Cronous was, of course, dedicated to the god Coeliss .

Therefore, a temple to the god Coeliss was built in the largest city of the continent. Although peace was restored to the continent, it didn't take long, but the beautiful Cronous continent of the past could never be found again. This was also because many second-level and third-level gods disappeared without a trace after the war. Some say they have seen the third-level goddess Akashi, but whether it's true or not is unknown. Long ago, the great recorder Todd recorded that he had seen the goddess Akashi, which may be true.

This is all the legend I know. I've heard rumors that even now, near Leto Island, the mournful cries of the greedy god can be heard at night.

Second Judgment Day and the Tarra War

At this time, a major event occurred that was a completely new turning point. Just like the previous appearances of Makufei and Saya, on the second judgment day, new gods from another world came to the Cronous world.

The gods from another world who came through the second judgment day are called the three gods of Arinos: Lovis, Badus, and Consilus. These three gods from another world were looking for Makufei, who also came from another world, but he had already been sealed.

They were hostile to Makufei (the reason is still unknown), so naturally they were also hostile to Makufei's faction, Yakmod. They wanted to lend their power to Orak, who was opposed to Yakmod. In order to curb the increasingly powerful Perimodi, Orak was about to accept the power of these three new gods from another world. This is the origin of the Coeliss Church.

The first to begin was the fierce war between Arinos and the five generals of Yakmod. The five generals of Yakmod, who had already mastered the power of Perimodi, fought evenly with the three gods of Arinos. In this battle, only Esmoqi of the five generals of Yakmod survived. Just when the outcome was about to be decided, Arinos had exhausted all their power in the fierce battle and therefore could not stop Esmoqi. Moreover, Esmoqi began to use Perimodi's regenerative ability to revive the other four generals.

Arinos and the Coeliss Church did their best to stop Esmoqi's actions, but they still could not prevent the revival of the five generals. Thus began the most chaotic history in the Cronous world, the Tarra War, also known as the brutal era of the 1000-year war.

Tips

Lapis

The god with the fire orb, using the power of fire, spread warm love in the Cronous world. Later, in the brutal war with Makufei, he cut out Makufei's heart and sealed it within his own body. The scream he emitted at that time shook the earth and raised the ground, taking many lives. Subsequently, Exiliss sealed Makufei's heart and his own body on the northernmost island of Leto in the Cronous continent.

Exiliss

The god with the water orb, through this power, conveyed cold rationality to the people of Cronous. In the Makufei war, he neutralized the poison gas used by Makufei with water, but as a result, he was eroded by the venom. Using his last strength, he hugged Makufei to stop his movements, thus ending the Makufei war. Then Exiliss removed Makufei's heart and, along with Makufei's body without a heart, sealed himself in the southernmost Castle Unos of Cronous.

Coeliss

The god Coeliss with the electricity orb gave warm punishment to the people of Cronous with different mindsets. He was the first of the three gods to detect Makufei's movements and therefore took action to stop him. In the war with Makufei, he used electricity to temporarily immobilize Makufei, which helped Exiliss and Lapis seal Makufei. Coeliss protected the Cronous continent alone without Exiliss and Lapis . Afterwards, the people of Cronous built a temple for Coeliss , and he was known as the most trusted god among the three.
