Quest System
Introduction to Quest System
(Figure 1)
This version of Cronous has improved the Quest System from previous versions, making the Quest System more complete and practical.
Figure1 shows the quest log of this game, which can be opened by pressing the "Q" key in the game. When you see the icon in the upper right corner of the game, it means you have unaccepted quests.
The Quest System in this game is mainly divided into three parts: System; Story; Repeatable
Quests are categorized by Class: Normal Class, 1st Job Change Mentor Class, 2nd Class, Legend Mentor Class
All quests have time limits for completion. If the time runs out, the quest fails and can be retaken.
1. System
The system quest line is triggered by the player's level. Upon reaching certain levels, some quests will be triggered. Most of these quests involve killing bosses in Cronous' boss maps. They are designed to help players get familiar with the bosses in various maps, their activation methods, and how to complete them. The main rewards for system quests are various titles. After completion, we can apply for these titles. Each title has bonus attributes, and the higher the level of the completed quest, the better the attributes of the title.
2. Story
The story quest line is triggered by the player's level and entering certain maps. The story Quest System is very helpful for us to get familiar with the game and character growth. The initial quests involve talking to various NPCs to understand the roles of some NPCs in the game. We can gain additional experience by completing story quests, as well as basic accessories, armor, weapons, and mall items in the game. Story quests also trigger another related quest after completing one. As long as you follow the quest line and complete all the quests, you will get to know the monster experience in various maps of the game. The story quest line is also the fastest way to level up, as almost every quest is in a map with relatively high experience.
3. RepeatableThe repeatable quest line mainly displays some quests that can be repeated. These repeatable quests are usually triggered only after completing the story quests. Repeatable quests are mainly for leveling up, because each time you complete the quest, you will get additional high experience.
(Figure 2)
For example: the repeatable quest (Figure2) "Abyss of Sunken Dungeon Clearance" is triggered by completing the story quest (Figure3) "Body and Mind Training 2". Once the story quest is completed once, the repeatable quest can be done repeatedly. Each time this quest is completed, a 1st job change level 108 character can get an additional 26 experience points, level 118 can get 6 points, levels 119 and 120 can get 5 points. This experience is directly added to the character. Some quests have time limits on the number of completions and can only be completed once per day.
